"Paige" (Female)

Meet the cutest little squirt in WBCR - Paige! This lively and sweet low-rider is a 7 month old "Borgi" mix...yes, that's Border Collie/Corgi! She is a delightful little girl, from the tip of her Border Collie nose all the way down to her short little Corgi legs!!

WBCR took in Paige and her brother Paxton after they had been abandoned at a Colorado farm. Paige is an action-packed lass and loves nothing more than to squeeze as much fun out of every day that she can!! Despite her small stature, she's an energetic little girl - not at all surprising, considering Corgis are herding dogs, too.

Paige is a social and affectionate girl who loves to meet people and enjoys a good cuddle - especially in the morning in bed with her family. She is wonderful with children - her face lights up every time she sees them at the park and she is very gentle with them. Paige also loves other dogs and can be very playful with some...she definitely needs a home with an active doggy companion to be happy. Cats are an unknown, but she loves to give squirrels a run for their money! She's not showing much interest in toys just yet, but she has shown some herdy-ness. She loves going for hikes, and she sticks close when off leash on the trail. Paige is very fast and naturally curious and loves to have something to do, and so we can see her taking to dog sports like a fish to water!

Paige is a bright girl and is learning the things she needs to know to become a great canine companion quickly. She's already house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to use a dog door. She walks politely on leash, too! Paige has just started to learn some of the basics like sit. She will need an adopter who will continue with her manners training and who will be able and willing to set boundaries for her, as she is still just a pup - and a busy one at that!

Paige has all the makings of a wonderful companion, doggy athlete, or active-family dog. Given her sweet and outgoing nature, she's suitable to a lot of different kinds of situations. If you are looking for a fun, well-rounded pup, Paige may be your gal. Whoever has the good fortune to take this girl home will be getting a real prize!!

Paige is spayed, microchipped, fully vetted and living in a loving foster home near Denver, CO.
