Meet darling Dixie! If you love a happy, friendly, super affectionate pup...Dixie is YOUR kinda gal! This beautiful 3 year old tricolor's tail is almost always wagging. Dixie's #1 favorite thing? People! Dixie soaks up attention like a sponge, and if she thinks she might get some from someone, she scoots closer..and closer...and then even closer...until....flop...she's rolled right over for a tummy rub, Dixie's #2 favorite thing! Yep, she's a people dog for sure! Although it takes Dixie a few minutes to warm up to strangers, once she realizes they might be attention-giving, she loves em! Of course, if they are possible ball-throwers she is also won over instantly. Yes, Dixie is indeed quite a fetchaholic, and to be really happy her life must involve some playing of fetch every day!! She is very good about dropping her toy by your feet, backing up, and looking at you with those 'come on, you know what to do' eyes. Although they don't quite hold the place in her heart humans do, Dixie is certainly good with other dogs and likes their company, too. She's kinda playful with 1 other dog in her foster home, but she really prefers to herd her canine foster siblings when they play and nip their ankles. Because of her herdy-ness, Dixie will be placed in a home without cats or very small kids. She does really seem to like older kids over 10.

This sweet girl came to WBCR as an owner surrender, and has clearly been taught a few things already! She's housetrained and cratetrained, and has learned a few of the basics. Like most BCs, she's bright and will certainly benefit from adopters who will continue to teach her skills to keep her well-mannered and mentally active.

This fun-loving, glass-half-full kinda girl is going to make an absolutely devoted, loving companion.
