Can you believe how HANDSOME this boy is?? He's loving, playful, and “filled to the gills” with skills, too. Meet Bosco!!

This 4 year old stunning purebred is still just a silly pup at heart...he just loves toys, especially squeaky ones. He really enjoys doing tricks, too, and knows quite a few. With his magnificent coat and crisp traditional markings, Bosco is a real eye catching guy! He's also a great snuggler. Bosco is always up for a ride in the car or going for a walk. He's a moderate energy boy who is a bit on the herdy side. He can be a bit mouthy when all fired up, so a home without small kids would be best for him...as for cats, he can live with them if they are dog-savvy.

Bosco gets high marks in the manners department too. He's housetrained, cratetrained, has all the basics down pat and has a great recall. He enjoys learning and, like most members of his breed, is quick to pick up new lessons.

Bosco came to WBCR as an owner surrender. Although we don't know much about how he spent his early years, it seems Mr. B was not well-socialized as a youngster. In the comfort of safe, known places and around his friends, he is his playful self. However, new people and dogs seem to rather terrify this underconfident fellow, and Bosco has learned that to keep these "scary things" away he should rely on first acting big and scary himself! He can also be a bit of a bossy pants with the dogs in his foster home, but is best buds with the third (a young male), and looooves to play and wrestle with him all day long. So clearly, there is hope of expanding his world to include new friends (both human and canine!) and his foster family is hard at work helping Bosco in this department. Bosco will really benefit from a home that will continue with general manners training and impulse control work as well, which will greatly help his confidence and ability to face the world beyond his backyard.

Bosco is a wonderful dog filled with love and sillyness, who needs a little bit of extra help so he can feel just as comfortable and happy out in the world as he does at home. He will do best with an understanding family who have time to work with him to help him blossom into a confident, well-adjusted chap. If you are one of those willing to help the misunderstood characters of the dog world like Bosco, you are sure to be rewarded with a spectacularly devoted and loving canine companion for life.
