"Trae" -- adopted January 2010

Meet our latest little heart-throb, Trae! With his unique coloring and endearing expression, this pup is totally irresistible...and dare we say, he is as delightful as he is cute!

Trae is a 7 month old BC/Aussie mix with all the makings of a fabulous dog. Super friendly, curious, affectionate, and playful, Trae is the total puppy package! This lil youngster loves people and is good with most other dogs. He is super playful with those who like to play, no matter their size, but his puppy antics can be a bit much for older dogs. Lighthearted Trae plays with toys, too, and like most pups his age, is loves to chew and is full of energy, energy, energy! As long as he has appropriate chew toys, he will leave inappropriate things alone. He doesn't seem to be particularly herdy. We expect him to be a pretty energetic adult.

Trae came to us from a shelter as a stray, so we know nothing about his past. The only thing that is clear is that he had little in the way of training! However, he's bright, and is very interested in engaging with people, so learns quickly. He's already cratetrained, almost completely housetrained, and working on the basics. Trae will need an adopter willing to continue teaching him the basics so he can grow up into a well-mannered canine citizen!

If you are looking for an adorable, eyecatching fella oozing with potential, and have the time and energy to devote to raising a young one right, Trae would make a great choice. We think he will be happiest in a home with another playful dog, and where the humans will give him lots of attention, love, and exercise! Darling Trae is sure to bring years of happy companionship and smiles to some lucky family.
