"Dugan" -- adopted February 2010

Dugan is a young (~2 year old) male BC rescued in late November from a crowded UT shelter. As Dugan landed in the shelter as a stray, we know nothing about his former life, but can assume it wasn't great.......he was horribly matted, skinny and scared to move. Flash forward a few weeks, and Dugan is a completely different dog!! He is quite the cuddle bug, and is more interested in getting human attention than anything else in life -- he should wear a sign that says, "Will Work For Pets"! He gets along great with other dogs, but prefers human companionship and would undoubtedly make a terrific therapy dog as he enjoys giving love as much as getting it. He's beginning to show interest in toys, although they seem to be a foreign concept to him. He's learning house manners nicely, and will need a family that will continue his confidence-building in new environments and will work on his recall when off-leash. He has a great off switch and moderate energy level, all in a veeeeeeery handsome package!

Dugan is neutered, fully vetted and living in a loving foster home near Salt Lake City, UT.
