"Guinnie" -- adopted January 2010

Guinnie is a young female BC mix girl that came from an awful hoarding situation in SW Oklahoma where 120+ BCs were left in deplorable situations after their owner was put in a nursing home. All of the dogs lived their whole lives outside with little/no shelter or containment, and Guinnie came to us with a mild case of heartworms. She has completed her treatment (which included 45 days of strict crate rest), is now heartworm negative and learning how much fun the big world can be! Having had little socialization or exposure to new things in her former life, Guinnie needs lots of help to build confidence to become more comfortable in the world. She's currently attending doggie daycare while her foster family is at work, and is learning that playing with other dogs and getting pets/treats from strangers is a wonderful thing!

We'll post more pics & a more complete bio on Guinnie as she continues to come out of her shell. She is spayed, fully vetted and living in a loving foster home near Loveland, CO.
