"Paddy" (Male)

Look out - Paddy's all grown up now!! Well, not exactly...although Paddy's been with us a few months and has shot up like a weed, he's still just a puppy at heart!!

Now just over 40 pounds, he's nearly done growing, and...well...he kinda looks like an adult. Paddy is all legs and with his perpetually mussed hairdo, there is no doubt he is still a kid. Once a charming, impish, silly, remarkably bright and curious puppy, Paddy has grown into a - you guessed it - a charming, impish, silly, remarkably bright and curious teenager!! His enthusiasm for making both human and canine friends has not waned. He can't get enough of people, especially if they look like they might pay attention to him...and as for dogs, well, there are few who can match Paddy's affection or skill at making dog friends. He can win over the bossy and recalcitrant with ease, and simply cannot get enough of playing with doggy pals of all shapes and sizes. Paddy also enjoys hiking and other outdoor pursuits, loves toys, and is becoming more of a fetcher every day. There is a touch of herdyness in him, too, and he's quite interested in movement. Paddy is always up for any adventure, and this high energy little guy who really likes to keep busy has no trouble keeping up with the best of em. At the end of a long day of fun, Paddy turns into a super snuggler, and will wriggle into your lap and then simply melt...sometimes right out of your lap into the floor!

Besides ranking pretty high in the "fun" department, Paddy absolutely steals the show in the "brains" department. His intelligence and capacity for learning and figuring things out are beyond compare...combined with his eagerness, ability to focus and engage, and love of food, Paddy is super duper fun to train. He especially loves to learn tricks, and with his sense of humor and ham it up personality, Paddy oozes potential for freestyle. He has already learned to spin, roll over, weave through your legs while you walk, and crawl on his belly. Besides showing off his repertoire of tricks, Paddy has lots of practical skills too. He's houstrained, cratetrained, rides well in the car and lives peaceably with cats. He walks pretty well on leash, has a fairly reliable recall off-leash, and can sit and lie down, too.

All in all, Paddy is a very playful, very bright and very loveable and delightful little character. If you are looking for an eager, energetic, and funny little fella to train and join you on a lifetime of adventure...Paddy would LOVE to meet you!!

Paddy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is being fostered in a loving home near Jackson, Wyoming.
